While it’s easy to get caught up in the simplicity of the pose, it holds a deeper lesson: the beauty lies not only in the final posture but also in the journey to get there.

Don’t worry, you’re not alone. It can be a debilitating condition that affects many women. 👩👧👧
But, there are ways to manage it and alleviate the discomfort.
I know firsthand how challenging it can be—I experienced Pelvic Girdle Pain during my twin pregnancy! 🙈
I found there was a lot of conflicting advice out there. I remember being told, “bed rest now - and no climbing the stairs,” but I couldn’t help but think, “Well, my bed is upstairs!” 😂
Fast forward 7 years, and now I support many clients suffering from Pelvic Girdle Pain. 🧘♀️🙌 One great way to help is through yoga. 🧘♀️ Not only does it strengthen and stretch the muscles in the pelvic region, but it also improves overall mobility.
In addition, there are other things you can do to ease the pain, such as wearing a pelvic support belt or using heat therapy.

1. Ground your bare feet on the earth. Let yourself walk through the grass.
2. Practice deep breathing exercises. Connect deeply as you breathe all the way in, all the way out. Breathe in peace, breathe out tension.
3. Engage in gentle yoga/stretching/movement/meditation. Or walking in nature, whatever makes you feel happy.

1️⃣ Prioritise Tasks: Make a list of everything you need to do and identify the most important tasks to tackle first. Breaking tasks down into smaller steps can make them feel more manageable. ✅ Get into the habit of creating a 'completed list' to make yourself feel positive about tackling those tasks! 🤸
2️⃣ Take a Breather: Step back, close your eyes, and take several deep breaths. Focusing on your breath can help calm your mind and reduce stress. Try Nadi Shodhana (balancing breath) or just keep it simple by inhaling for 4 counts and exhaling for 8 counts. 🌬️
3️⃣ Take a Break: Give yourself permission to take a break when you need it. Whether it's going for a walk or doing a quick yoga session, taking regular breaks can help you recharge and approach tasks with renewed energy and focus. You don't need to 'earn' your rest! ⏰ Set yourself little reminders on your phone or watch to stop and take those little restful moments. 🚶♀️
